Troubleshooting: Installation

Mac OS X Lion and Mountain Lion have a “sandboxing” feature that can cause various issues with installation and usage, depending on the type of account and permissions.

 

 

For installation on some systems, it might be necessary to TEMPORARILY change the security settings as shown below.

Leave this dialog open, install, then change the setting back when installation is done.
